We provide quality vessels, manned with professional personnel that have a proven positive safety culture and a can do attitude.

Safety:

Hedland Launch Service has a zero tolerance to alcohol and deleterious drugs in the workplace. All personnel are subject to mandatory fitness for work testing prior to commencing any shift. All personnel are trained in First Aid, Job Hazard Analysis and risk assessment. Regular safety training, toolbox meetings and safety observations are conducted in our workplaces. Safety Management Systems, Emergency plans and procedures are in place. Monthly safety drills are carried out on all vessels and as required by legislation and the Pilbara Port Authority. Drills include Man overboard, Fire, collision, Environmental spills

Personnel:

HLS currently employs over 30 personnel, consisting of Office Administration staff, Skippers and Deckhands.

Capabilities:

Hedland Launch Service provides a 24 hour service with highly experienced operators and regularly maintained vessels in current survey. We are fully licensed to operate with the Pilbara Ports Authority (Port Hedland).

All employees have MSICs and PPA (Port Hedland) inductions.

All masters and coxswains have completed the PPA small boat induction.
